1. Introduction

THKMC ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the personal data of individuals who use SilverHands ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Micro-taskers,
  • Task requesters or task owners who engage micro-taskers through the App,
  • Vendors, partners, and contractors, and
  • Any individual interacting with the App or related services.

3. Definition of Personal Data

"Personal Data" refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data alone, or from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.

4. Personal Data We Collect

a. Identity and Contact Data

Name, NRIC / FIN (where legally required), Email address, Mobile number, and Address.

b. Account and Profile Data

Login credentials, Profile photo, Skills, availability, preferences, and micro-task history.

c. Transaction and Payment Data

Payment instructions and payout records. (Processed via third-party providers).

d. Technical and Usage Data

IP address, Device info, operating system, and App usage logs/analytics.

5. How We Collect Personal Data

We collect data when you register an account, apply for micro-tasks, communicate with us, or simply use the App (technical data generation).

6. Purposes of Collection, Use, and Disclosure

  • Account creation and matching micro-taskers with micro-task opportunities.
  • Facilitating micro-task assignments, completion, and payments.
  • Identity verification and eligibility checks.
  • App analytics and service improvement.
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

Disclosure of Task Requester Personal Data to Micro-Taskers

Where necessary for the performance of a micro-task, we may disclose limited personal data of task requesters (name, mobile number, address) to the assigned micro-tasker solely for micro-task coordination and service delivery.

7. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may share data with other App users (limited), third-party service providers (IT, payment), professional advisers, and government authorities where required by law.

8. Protection of Personal Data

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with recognised data protection practices to prevent unauthorised access or loss.

9. Retention of Personal Data

Data is retained only as long as necessary for its purpose or as required by law. Afterward, it is securely disposed of or anonymised.
